Welcome to my website!
Hello! Welcome to my website!
I am a second year graduate student in the Department of Meteorology and Climate Science at San Jose State University. My research involves rotor formation and forecasting using the WRF model and the GOES-R satellite.
NewsCurrently running WRF for the March 20, 2011 and April 27, 2010 case studies of the rotor events in the San Bernardino Mountains, Spring Mountains, and Owens Valley.
2/8/2012: Creating vertical cross-section plots for potential temperature and zonal winds, vertical velocity, and squared Scorer Parameter. Stay tuned for updates!
2/14/2012: Happy Valentine's Day! I have just loaded vertical plots for the March event under the Research tab. Please email me with suggestions or if you are having trouble with the page!
6/7/2012: Updated the vertical cross-section plots, added a plot for the April domain, and added Scorer parameter squared under the Research tab. I have only updated the April event because WRF is currently running the March event. I'll update those plots when WRF is done.
7/6/2012: Happy Friday! I have updated the March plots for the vertical cross sections. I am in the process of updating the surface maps for April and conducting microphysics sensitivity runs. Also, I am getting a script to put all the vertical plots onto one site with animation! More updates soon!
